Job Description

Our client is a specialist mining maintenance company with a strong history of providing high quality heavy equipment maintenance solutions to mining projects and other heavy industry throughout the Bowen Basin region.

They are seeking experienced site trade assistants to join their team now

Sites: Callide and Dawson Mine Site
Hourly rate: $40/hr + pens (pay breakdown for 12 hour shift is 7/3/2)
Roster: Ongoing and adhoc shutdowns
Hours/shifts: Typically 12 hour shifts, both days and nights based on roster
Accommodation/meals: Yes all supplied on rostered shifts, paid breaks, with 3 hours paid travel weekly for commuting workers

You will require:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a trade assistant
  • Current standard 11 (mandatory)
  • Current coal board medical (mandatory)
  • Mine site inductions at Callide and Dawson mine sites (highly desirable)
  • Glencore Generic Induction and inductions at other sites (advantageous)
