We know that every hour spent on admin is one taken away from patient facing clinical care or added on to the working week. Our full-time dedicated administrative support and coordination teams allow clinicians to focus on quality clinical care and provide their undivided attention to participant care, progression, and goal attainment.

You should be a competent and flexible clinician, confident in autonomous practice but aware of your scope, and prepared to engage with the team and your supervisors for support to deliver exceptional care. 

Essential Requirements of the Role

  • Suitable Bachelor or Masters level degree
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current federal police check
  • Positive notice (working with children check)
  • Queensland Blue Card
  • Unrestricted Drivers license
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number

Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with SPA. Certified copies of relevant qualification and registration must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties

Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated assessment, clinical reasoning skills, and evidence-based intervention for the client group (disability, chronic, & complex care).
  • Demonstrated high-level of communication and confidence with motivational interviewing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of relevant government programs such DVA, Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan items, NDIS, and Private Health Funds.
  • Sound understanding of business risk, planning, time management, legal responsibilities, and workplace health and safety.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in the delivery of private allied health services.
  • Confidence in delivering services across the lifespan.
  • Confidence in writing and communicating.
