About the role

As a Store Person VMS at Alfagomma Australia, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of the company's inventory, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and the timely delivery of products to customers. This full-time role is based in Mackay, Queensland, and is crucial in supporting the overall business objectives on client sites in the Bowen basin via a fully maintained company vehicle. 

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, storing, and dispatching a variety of products and materials in the warehouse
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and using stock management software to track stock levels
• Picking, packing, and loading orders for delivery to customers
• Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure it is clean, safe, and well-organised
• Supporting the logistics team in the planning and execution of deliveries
• Adhering to all health, safety, and quality procedures to ensure a safe work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse or store person role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Good time management and organisational skills to ensure timely order fulfilment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and stock control processes
• A forklift licence and experience operating warehouse machinery would be highly advantageous
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety
• Standard 11 & Coal board medical is preferred
