Vegies Unlimited specialises in Fruit & Vegetables. We have a retail outlet serving the general public and a wholesale depot where we pack orders for businesses such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, hospitals and accommodation camps.
You have the opportunity to become a valued member of our team as a Storeperson/Delivery Driver.
Role Description includes but is not limited to:
* Unloading pallets of stock and packing into coldroom
* Quality control and stock rotation
* Packing of orders for wholesale customers
* Delivery of orders to wholesale customers
* Cleaning & maintaining a neat & tidy work environment
* Maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance.
Hours of work and remuneration
The position is casual with the opportunity to move to full time.
* Wholesale depot operates 6 days per week.
* May involve early starts.
* Your package can include above award wages, bonus systems and overtime.
Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience in one or all of the following:
-
Delivery Driving
-
Food Industry
-
Hospitality
-
Warehousing
Selection Criteria:
* Food industry/Fresh produce experience/knowledge
* Car licence
* Reasonably fit as some heavy lifting is involved
* Customer service skills
* A positive attitude and work ethic
* Reliable team player
Special knowledge/skills that would be an advantage to the business
* Ability to multi-task
* Forklift licence
* Heavy Rigid Truck Licence
Training and upskilling will be provided for the successful applicant.
Opportunities include:
