Hail Creek Open Cut has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stores Officer to join our Supply team on a 9 day fortnight.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your role will be to provide safe, efficient, and cost effective stores and warehousing functions. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Unloading / loading of delivery vehicles.
  • Receipting deliveries and reconciliation against picking slips and purchase orders.
  • Placement of items and equipment into warehouse and/or laydown area in designated locations.
  • Issuing of stock and non-stock items to internal customers.
  • Accurate and timely data entry of transactions and inventory records.
  • Maintenance of good working relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Undertaking routine stock takes and reconciliations for stores items.

About You:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Have a proven track record in the receival, handling and dispatch of items and equipment in the mining and/or industrial sector.
  • Relevant purchasing, warehousing and/or inventory management qualifications.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable laws, Regulations and Statutory obligations associated with this role.
  • A current Forklift Operating licence and NSW Driver's licence is essential.
  • An advanced level of proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (ideally SAP)
