Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Estimator to join our team in Rockhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their construction career with a well-respected and leading company within the insurance repairs space. 

About the Role You’ll play a key role in managing property insurance building projects from initial assessment through to completion. The position involves both office-based estimating and hands-on site supervision to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Salary: Circa $120,000 + Super 
Location: Rockhampton, QLD

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of materials, allocation of trades, and project workflows to ensure all works are completed on time and within budget.

  • Complete site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, and compliance with Australian Building Standards and WHS requirements.

  • Conduct site assessments and prepare accurate estimates, reports, and SOW.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on repairs and addressing any concerns.

  • Uphold health and safety standards on all job sites, ensuring team members follow proper procedures.

Skills & Experience
  • QBCC Licence – essential

  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction – highly regarded

  • Trade background – preferred

  • Insurance repair experience – preferred

  • Strong understanding of building processes, costs, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on quality and customer service
