Supervisor

Downer is seeking experienced Supervisor with a structural or paint and blast background for our site located in Gladstone.

About the Role

We have an opportunity in our Energy and Utilities team for a Supervisor to join the team in Gladstone. You will provide day-to-day leadership to work crews and interact with the client. Reporting to the Projects Delivery Manager, you will ensure consistency of work, deliver on the project outcomes (time, cost, quality, safety), identify opportunities for improvements, and align with both the client and Downer work standards.

About You

• Experience in structural steel or paint and blasting on heavy industrial projects
• Proven experience in project delivery, leading a team and liaising with sub-contractors
• Willing to work Mon to Friday 10hr days with OT available on Saturdays
• Clear and concise communication style with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Committed to working within the requirements of the client and Downer with the ability to work well under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a zero-harm environment
