If so, we have an ideal opportunity for you! We are looking for a Supervisor of Natural Area Management in Mackay for a permanent, full-time position with a 9-day fortnight schedule.

About this opportunity:

As the Supervisor Natural Area Management, you will be at the forefront of enhancing sustainability and quality within natural and coastal ecosystems. You will lead a dedicated team, driving ecological restoration, weed control, and revegetation initiatives. Your expertise and guidance will be crucial in achieving the organisation's goals and maintaining a high standard of natural area management services.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Qualification in Natural Resource Management (vegetation rehabilitation and coastal ecosystems) or Horticulture.
  • Degree (preferred); OR
  • Less formal qualifications.
  • QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent. Note: interstate licences must be transferred to QLD within three (3) months of commencement.
  • General Construction Induction Training.
  • First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain within three (3) months of commencement.
  • Chainsaw Level 2 Licence or ability to obtain within three (3) months of commencement.
  • ACDC Weed Spraying Licence.
