Support Mentor – Transition to Work

Job Description

We are excited to introduce a newly created Support Mentor role to our team in Gladstone.

 We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our existing Transition to Work team.

 As our Mentor Support, you’ll be the go-to person who keeps things organised, efficient, and on track. From managing day-to-day operations to ensuring information flows seamlessly between teams, your work will directly support our ability to deliver outstanding outcomes. You’ll be the calm in the chaos, the detail-oriented thinker who spots what others might miss, and the friendly face that makes colleagues feel supported.

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support across the team, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are clear.

  • Manage correspondence, prepare documents, and maintain accurate records and databases. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.

  • Strong attention to detail, high work quality, and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Have the ability to show initiative, problem solving effectively, and work collaboratively within a team.

  • Sound digital literacy skills utilising different software platforms for reporting as well as Microsoft 365 (Word/Excel & Outlook)

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability for problem-solving and anticipating needs.

  • A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
