About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at Stanwell Power Station near Rockhampton.

The Support Officer will provide day to day administration and business systems support to the SAMCo Service Delivery teams, across multiple locations. This position will work closely with Managers, Superintendents, Site Leads and the work groups to provide timely professional and efficient operational support, balancing the competing work requirements of various teams to ensure positive outcomes for the broader SAMCo business and its customers.

Key activities include:

  • Prepare reports to a high standard suitable for a broad range of audiences. Report information may be sourced from a wide range of business systems and presented on a consistent, accurate and timely basis.
  • Provide Contractor Management support, liaising with external parties as required.
  • Support the team with a range of administrative functions including document control, photocopying, purchasing, maintaining tooling and equipment registers and managing vehicle fleet management activities. 
  • Assist with the mobilisation of employees to site and training as required, including liaising with the Stanwell Travel Admin team to organise flights, accommodation, hire cars etc.
  • Monitor and schedule team training and licensing compliance.

About you

  • Proven administrative capabilities with advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in a multi-function, multi-team, open office environment including working with technical professionals, senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
