About the role
Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking a passionate and engaging Support Service Workers (Hospitality) to join our team on Permanent Part Time basis, based at our Aged Care Facility, Leinster Place.
This position is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Support Services (hospitality – kitchen hand and catering) and ensure high quality resident care to our residents.
$24.65 - $27.10 per hour + superannuation and salary sacrifice
This role entails but not limited to -
- Assist with the preparation, assembly and delivery of resident meals, morning and afternoon teas and dinners
- Ensure resident’s preferences are noted and special dietary needs are provided
- Maintain the cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas
About you
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work - Monday to Sunday, morning shifts (0700-1330). Required to be able to work 8 shifts over a fortnight
