Mercy Community is seeking Part-Time and Casual Support Service Workers to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this role, you’ll make a real difference every day by delivering high-quality hospitality and support services that enhance the wellbeing of our residents.
What you’ll do
As a Support Service Worker, no two days are the same! You’ll take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents through:
Kitchen & Dining:
- Assisting with the preparation, assembly, and delivery of nutritious meals
- Supporting dietary needs and preferences
- Preparing beverages and serving meals to HACCP standards
- Keeping dining areas clean, inviting, and enjoyable
Cleaning & Laundry:
- Maintaining resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard
- Conducting full cleans of vacated rooms to welcome new residents
- Delivering laundry services with care and efficiency
About you
You’re a compassionate and reliable team player who takes pride in your work. You bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.
- Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent) – desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role – desirable
- Valid police check or willingness to obtain one
