The role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal goals, engage in their communities, and lead fulfilling lives. You will provide compassionate care and practical assistance tailored to each participants unique needs and preferences. This role is an on-site position. 
 
Key responsibilities

• Assist with transport, social participation, and community access
• Work in collaboration with our compliance team
• Working with individual participants to maintain personal care and cleanliness of the house
• Planning and attending activities or appointments
• Completing daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports

 
What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Disability (or currently working towards)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity and independence of people with disabilities
• Suitable availability to work on a rotating flexible roster(may include a combination of day, afternoon, sleepovers and weekend shifts)
