The role
As a Disability Support Worker within our SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal goals, engage in their communities, and lead fulfilling lives. You will provide compassionate care and practical assistance tailored to each participants unique needs and preferences.
We currently have sleepover and weekend shifts available
Key responsibilities

Working with individual participants to maintain personal care and cleanliness of the house

Planning and attending activities, appointments out in the community

Completing daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports

Foster a positive team culture and contribute to the overall success of our Supported Independent Living participants homes
What we're looking for
-
Certificate III in Disability (or currently working towards)

Experienced working within a SIL environment

Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

In-depth understanding of the NDIS and experience in developing and implementing person-centred support plans

Basic computer skills and ability to complete SIL shift documentation

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands

Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity and independence of people with disabilities

Suitable availability to work on a rotating flexible roster (may include a combination of day, afternoon, sleepovers and weekend shifts)
