About the Role:

Starting immediately, this role requires you to be able to travel locally, interstate and overseas.  Your skills will enhance our training services and provide support to meet customers' needs. This position will be ideal for a trainer with expertise in the mining sector who is skilled in designing, delivering and evaluating technical training programs and working closely with national and regional teams.

Locations can be: Adelaide, Perth, Mackay, Brisbane, Mt Thorley, Hunter Valley and Newcastle.

 

Skills and Duties:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering technical training programs specific to customer requirements

  • Experience in Liebherr mining products would be considered as highly regarded

  • The ability to liaise with local management to determine and address internal technical training needs

  • Exceptional technical knowledge and skills regarding relevant mining plant and equipment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide face-to-face, virtual and blended training

  • A strong commitment to continuous improvement.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment, including TAELLN411 module

  • Experience in developing and delivering technical training

  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
