As a Tenancy Management Officer for a Community Housing Portfolio, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain safe, secure, and sustainable tenancies. You'll work alongside tenants, support providers, and community partners to deliver respectful, person-centred housing services that create real and lasting impact.
What will a typical day look like?
- Support residents throughout their housing journey with empathy and respect
- Manage the end-to-end tenancy process – from allocations and inspections to documentation and exit planning
- Work collaboratively with support providers to address complex needs and sustain tenancies
- Monitor rent payments and manage arrears with fairness and consistency
- Promote inclusive, safe, and welcoming housing environments
- Build effective partnerships with external support agencies and safety networks
- Contribute to continuous service improvement aligned with our strategic goals
Mandatory Requirements:
- Real Estate Salesperson Certificate or Certificate IV in Community Services and relevant experience.

- Demonstrated experience working within a high-performance framework where you are accountable for KPIs on program delivery and outcomes, within a face-paced solutions focussed environment.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
