Job Description

Mackay Test and Tag is looking for Test & Tag Technicians to join our team! No experience is necessary – full training is provided. This is a casual role, perfect for someone looking for hands-on work with travel opportunities.

What We Offer:

  • Full training provided – no Test & Tag certificate required

  • Work both in Mackay and on mine sites

  • Monday to Friday schedule

  • Immediate start

Your Role:

  • Conduct electrical safety inspections (testing & tagging)

  • Identify defects and record/label faulty equipment

  • Assist the supervisor with additional duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Drivers License (Manual) – essential

  • Coal Board Medical – preferred, not essential

  • Standard 11 – preferred, not essential

  • Police Check

  • Willingness to travel to Bowen Basin mines, including overnight stays
