An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Trade Assistant / Delivery Driver to join TE’s carefully selected and skilled workforce in Paget on a full-time basis.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Perform daily inspections of forklift and light vehicles / truck.

  • Load/unload trucks using a forklift and handle manual lifting.

  • Assist in picking and storing workshop parts.

  • Clean and washing equipment.

  • Assist warehouse operators with general warehousing.

  • Operate various machines, hand tools, and power tools as instructed.

  • Sort and prepare materials, including manual handling.

  • Transport tools, materials, and parts to and from local workshops and businesses.

  • Clean and prepare work surfaces, ensuring cleanliness.

  • Maintain general workshop/yard cleanliness and tidiness.

  • Perform assembly and dismantling operations as needed.

Qualifications/Licenses:

  • MR Drivers licence required, to be maintained throughout employment.

  • High Risk Work Licence - Forklift Licence required. Dogging and Rigging is advantageous.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Two years of relevant experience in a comparable position or industry.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work unsupervised, take directions well, and work as part of a small team.

  • Professional communication with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

  • Ensure workspace is always clean and presentable.

  • Physically fit – this work involves long periods of standing and lifting as required.
