Trade Assistant | Power Generation
UGL Industrials have an opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant with power station experience to join our on-site maintenance team. This position will support the site in the day-to-day maintenance activities over a 4-day week (36hrs).
This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Local applicants from the Rockhampton region are strongly encouraged to apply.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Previous experience working on a power station preferred
- Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card)
- High risk work licence – LF, WP preferred but not essential
- Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years
- Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years
- Nationally accredited Gas Test Atmospheres certification valid within 3 years
- Driver’s Licence
Duties / tasks this position will undertake are along the lines of:
- Assisting tradespeople – Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers in day to day activities
- Servicing Mills
- Lubricating and servicing of plant
- Assisting scaffolding team when required
- Confined space hole watch / sentry duties if required
