Job Description

UGL’s Industrials & Resources Division, previously known in the Mackay region as our Mining Division, has undergone a change, offering a more streamlined onboarding experience and highly competitive rates. Leveraging off the huge success of our Outages in Power Stations, Chemical Plants and Refineries we are now expanding our remit in this region to include all things Mining as well as Ports & Infrastructure, with a particular focus on what we are good at – Shutdowns, Projects, Capital Works and Maintenance contracts.

About You

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Demonstrated Mining experience preferred

  • Current Coal Board Medical preferred

  • Standard 11 or BMA Core Induction – Statement of Attainment

  • RIIWHS202D Enter Confined Space – Statement of Attainment

  • RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights – Statement of Attainment

  • MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres - Statement of Attainment

  • High Risk Work Licence - DG, LF, WP

  • High levels of attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills
