The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our workshop team. In this role, you will support tradespeople with manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, and preparation of longwall equipment and components. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in mining equipment fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified tradespeople with fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for workshop jobs

• Support the team in maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

• Learn and develop skills in a practical, hands-on environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Previous workshop or trade experience is an advantage but not essential
