About the opportunity: We support a wide range of customers both internal and external across the Central Queensland Coal Network. We focus on system shutdowns where we provide track protection support for up to 200 civil and electrical activities between 2 to 5 days.
We spend a lot of time on the road travelling to over 20 shutdowns per year in locations such as Bowen, Mackay, Sarina, Moranbah, Emerald, Blackwater, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Moura.
Rosters can vary from 9 / 5, 8 / 6 and 5 / 2 (days) depending on the requirements and we operate 24/7.

What are we looking for?
- Ability and willingness to travel via road to various locations in Central & North Queensland
- Ability and willingness to work a varied roster that supports a 24/7 operation (early morning & night shifts)
- You must want to work in the outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable driving highway and offroad conditions
- Confidence to communicate to large groups of people, via radio and speaking up when something is unsafe
To be successful in this role you need to complete testing, a medical, reference checks and hold a C-Class QLD Manual drivers’ licence or minimum P2 (preferred).
