Trainer and Assessor

We are currently seeking applications for a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to join the Team at Foundations Care.

The role requires the delivery of training to an inspiring group of youth workers and case worker across all regions in Qld, in this community services-based organisation.

The Trainer and Assessor will foster the learning and growth of the people that deliver on the daily care and supports needed for the children and young people in our care.

There may be elements of training required with our group of Foster Carers as well.

We are looking for a high energy and passionate person who can deliver on the requirements below, and who can help to take this area of the organisation to a the next level.

What you will do:

·        Deliver the required training for new and existing employees as set by the organisation, including utilising internal training platforms

·        Travel to offices and regions as required, so organisation and time management skills, as well as proficiency in managing a busy calendar is essential

·        When not travelling, be based from any of our Qld offices in our Central Qld, Southeast or Southwest offices

·        Be part of audit ready processes around the mandated training for our key roles in the Out of Home Care (residential) and Foster Care programs

·        Manage required departmental reporting around training registers

·        Deliver face to face and online interactive, training and assessment

·        Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders

·        Contribute to lesson planning and continuous improvement

·        Ensure safety and quality standards are met in all sessions

About you:

·       Be experienced in training and assessing

·       Hold relevant certificates / qualifications

·       Hold a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainer accreditation, or be willing to obtain

·        Be flexible with start and finish times to assist with program training needs and be willing to travel
