About the Role
You’ll deliver engaging, hands-on training and assessment to high school students completing Certificate II in Engineering Pathways (Boilermaker / Sheet Metal focus)
Your mission is to build students’ confidence, practical skills, and understanding of real-world trade pathways, preparing them for apprenticeships and future careers in engineering fabrication.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver practical, workshop-based training and assessment

Mentor, motivate, and inspire students in a positive learning environment

Share real-world industry knowledge and trade expectations

Build strong relationships with partner schools

Contribute to lesson planning and continuous improvement

Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are always met
What You’ll Bring

Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Worker

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or willingness to obtain
-
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)

Strong communication and mentoring skills

A genuine passion for developing future tradespeople
