We require a casual qualified truck driver to join our busy Rockhampton depot to deliver plasterboard.

- Do you have a good attention to detail?
- Are you honest, supportive, with good integrity and a willingness to learn?
- Are you punctual, well presented, reasonably fit, mature, and hardworking?
- Are you good at communicating with customers on site to complete the deliveries?
- Are you able to work un-supervised, run your own jobs and supervise others?
- Do you have a medium rigid truck licence or above and are you able to drive automatic and manual vehicles?
- Do you have knowledge of Northern QLD? (is a bonus but not required as training will be provided)
- Do you have a Queensland White Card (CPCWHS1001)?
- Do you have a full AUS driver’s license and access to a vehicle?

The Role
This will be a hands-on role, with some of the required functions including (but not limited to):
- Making sure your delivery team is appropriately dressed and are set for the day, and that all safety requirements are been followed
- Making sure the truck is fully operational including checking truck oil, tyre’s, and fluid levels, and that all safety requirements are been followed
- Following the delivery schedules for the day as provided from the depot
- Checking all loads to make sure everything is there and that it matches with picking slip
- Checking that all load restraints are free from damage, and that the load is secure
- Driving to the delivery drop offs and liaising with the site supervisors to find out where they require the deliver to be unloaded
- Completing the unloading with the team as per the request from the customer and making sure the team follows the OH&S specifications
- Returning to base and completing all safety logs and paperwork, as required
- Updating job system and logs, and complete timesheets, as required
