 Responsibilities of this role
  • Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes/maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment
  • Removing and fitting OTR mining tyres/wheels, wheel rotations, pressure checks, and recording tyre usage information
  • Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Be committed to adhering to and promoting a strong safety culture
Requirements for this role include
  • Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or
  • AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
  • AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
  • RIIMPO208F Operate support equipment
    RIISAM202E Isolate and access plant
    RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
  • A current Queensland driver licence
