Job Description

RIMEX is seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team in Queensland. As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres for various vehicles, including trucks, buses, and earthmoving machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of tyre fitting techniques and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform tyre fitting, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles. 
  • Conduct tyre inspections and diagnose issues. 
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards. 
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed. 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

  • 7:7 roster including permanent Day shift

Requirements: 

  • Cert II in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting or equivalent. 
  • Experience in OTR tyre fitting in the mining industry preferred. 
  • Forklift license desirable. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
