Your Role

As an Urgent Care Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Your day will be dynamic, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient experience.

  • Conduct timely triage and clinical assessments of walk-in patients
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with medical practitioners
  • Respond promptly to patient deterioration and initiate appropriate escalation protocols
  • Perform advanced procedures including wound care, suturing, plastering, and medication administration
  • Support efficient patient flow through effective communication and teamwork
  • Provide patient education and health advice to promote recovery and prevent re-injury
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with clinical standards and policies

About You

You are an experienced, confident nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is motivated by delivering great patient outcomes.

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • 3+ years’ experience in acute care, emergency, or urgent care settings (ICU experience highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated ability to triage and prioritise care in a busy clinical environment
  • Sound clinical judgment, strong assessment skills, and a calm, professional approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts (no overnights required)
  • A commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous professional development
