Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our Anglo American villages in the Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura regions.
The successful applicant will be adaptable and flexible in regard to operational requirements splitting your time across both a Storesperson and Trades Assistant role providing critical and timely support to our Delta FM maintenance teams in the Bowen Basin region.
The roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, working 11 hour days. Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis, whereby accommodation and meals are provided.
The Position
- Perform non-licenced duties related to trades, such as plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning cleans, painting and maintenance
- Stocktake and inventory management
- Ordering, collection, receipting and delivery of parts
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required
The Person
- Prior warehousing/stores experience (desirable)
- Open Drivers Licence and reliable transport mandatory
- Trades Assistant experience in assisting a variety of trades
- Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces
- EWP & Forklift License (desirable or willing to obtain)
- Computer skills are required – experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Pronto or other transferable programs
