Warehouse Officer

NRGGOS is currently seeking to appoint a temporary full time Warehouse Officer to join the Business Services Department. This position is for a Specific Task Wages Employee to work from 1 April 2026 to 4 September 2026, Monday to Friday, 36.25 hour week on a 9-day fortnight basis.

Previous experience in providing safe, efficient and reliable Warehousing Services is essential.

Some of the main accountabilities of the role include:

  • Issue stock and materials accurately against authorised requisitions,

  • Pick, pack and prepare goods for internal departments or dispatch, including goods manual handling

  • Providing an enquiry service for customers and suppliers

  • Verify item codes and quantities before issuing

  • Stocktaking of inventory items and reconciliation of stock checks and discrepancies

  • Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming goods when required

  • Contributing to improving standards, process and systems

  • Ensuring hazardous substances are stored and transported safely

  • Availability for additional hours and overtime during peak periods

Essential Qualifications include:

  • Previous experience working in a modern, computerised inventory management system and warehouse facility

  • Hold current licences for plant and equipment used within a warehouse environment

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to efficiently complete tasks and meet deadlines are essential.

Desirable Qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Warehousing

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
