Warehouse Officer
NRGGOS is currently seeking to appoint a temporary full time Warehouse Officer to join the Business Services Department. This position is for a Specific Task Wages Employee to work from 1 April 2026 to 4 September 2026, Monday to Friday, 36.25 hour week on a 9-day fortnight basis.
Previous experience in providing safe, efficient and reliable Warehousing Services is essential.
Some of the main accountabilities of the role include:

Issue stock and materials accurately against authorised requisitions,

Pick, pack and prepare goods for internal departments or dispatch, including goods manual handling

Providing an enquiry service for customers and suppliers

Verify item codes and quantities before issuing

Stocktaking of inventory items and reconciliation of stock checks and discrepancies

Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming goods when required

Contributing to improving standards, process and systems

Ensuring hazardous substances are stored and transported safely

Availability for additional hours and overtime during peak periods
Essential Qualifications include:

Previous experience working in a modern, computerised inventory management system and warehouse facility

Hold current licences for plant and equipment used within a warehouse environment

Basic computer skills and the ability to efficiently complete tasks and meet deadlines are essential.
