Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland are currently seeking permanent Warehouse Operator to join our team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing & Warehouse Coordinator and key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining safe work practices, actively participate in safety audits, investigations and other site safety initiatives. You will also assist with writing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Despatch Forklift Operator - Stock Rotation, Loading of Trucks, Receiving Incoming Goods, Loading Empty Containers in accordance with manifest specifications;
  • Housekeeping Duties, (Warehouse and Raw material Management)
  • Refined bulk loading operations/processes - Documentation, Tipper operations
  • Pallet Control
  • Strictly adheres to COR, Site safety and Quality policies and standards at all times;
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all relevant documentation relating to deliveries and despatched items/products - e.g. date codes and batch codes, manifest.
  • Understand manufacturing aims
  • Assist in supervision of loading bay and warehouse areas

About You

  • Available to work overtime when requested
  • Proven track record of safe operation in an industrial environment
  • Proven ability to learn and work to identified aims
  • Competent in completing all associated paperwork
  • Problem solving/analytical with a depth of attention to detail
  • Current Forklift License
  • Senior First Aid Certificate - desirable
  • Must be able to attend and pass Mine and Quarries Act medical prior to commencement.
  • A positive attitude, and a strong commitment to team building and success of the organisation.
  • A desire and willingness to undertake training to gain necessary skills.
  • Good communication verbal and written and basic computer skills
