Are you an experienced team leader or supervisor looking for the chance to grow your long term management career?

We are on the hunt for a Warehouse Team Leader in Mackay! This role will be Monday to Friday, working our 1pm-9pm shift.

No two days will be the same while you manage, coach and mentor your team to drive their success, so we're looking for people who are confident leaders and communicators.

What your new role entails:

  • Lead our warehouse team to deliver results, driving continuous improvements in Safety, Service and Productivity
  • Manage operational labour performance, and take action to ensure targets are consistently achieved
  • Recruit, induct, onboard and train all newly hired employees
  • Coach, mentor and drive performance of the warehouse team, providing clearly defined tasks and feedback
  • Conduct performance development planning with all direct reports and identify opportunities for career development and succession planning
  • Actively participate to ensure a safe working environment for all, monitoring and reporting on Work Health & Safety compliance

What you’ll bring with you:

  • 2+ years experience in a fast paced team leader or supervisory role essential
  • Warehouse experience and/or exposure to industrial products preferred
  • Forklift licence essential, high reach experience desirable
  • Experience with performance management and driving a team to successful outcomes required
  • Resolution and results focused, self motivated, and can prioritise and problem solve efficiently
  • Good computer/MS Suite skills are critical to this role
  • Previous experience with MS Dynamics highly regarded
