Madd Industries is a locally owned and operated business specialising in site support, preventative maintenance, shutdowns, machine rebuilds, new equipment builds, hydraulic hose manufacturing, repairs and management, including a wide range of mechanical services for heavy, medium, and light vehicles throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

We are currently recruiting a full-time Workforce Planner based in our Paget office.

In this role your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the workforce planning functions for works, including rosters, accommodation bookings, and site vehicle scheduling
  • Ensure correct manning levels are maintained for current rosters
  • Book training, medicals & inductions for personnel
  • Assist with forecasting future works, including expected manning requirements
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records for all employees to ensure 100% compliance
  • Oversee workforce recruitment and onboarding for all field employees
  • Being a central point of contact to all field employees
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders and employees
  • Workflow management to effectively utilise resources
  • Project tracking and site invoicing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Working knowledge or previous experience in a similar role ideally in the mining or construction industry, including an understanding of the required compliance and training
  • Excellent time management and workflow management skills
  • Human Resource experience desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • A positive and energetic approach to your work
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Team orientated and self-motivated
