WHS Project Officer
· Permanent Full Time
· Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
· $98,887-$103,008 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation

Your new role
Are you passionate about workplace health and safety and delivering corporate projects with a Safety First focus? We're looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to join our Safety, Training & Wellbeing Unit as a Project Officer.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across Council to develop and implement strategic initiatives and prioritise projects aimed at enhancing Council’s safety management system.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
- Significant experience in researching and developing plans and strategies and providing high-quality written reports and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in leading and monitoring multiple projects within scope to achieve the required outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety functions with the ability to provide specialist advice and assistance relating to the implementation of corporate WHS projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at establishing productive relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
