Hear from the Team!

I really enjoy the flexibility and the diverse range of injuries and diagnoses I work with in Occupational Rehab at KINNECT. While it’s not your typical path psychology role, it has given me the opportunity to develop an entirely new skill set, including motivational interviewing and micro-counselling, which I use daily. One of the most valuable skills I’ve gained is the power of observation—you can learn so much just by watching how people interact and respond.

One of the biggest highlights for me is the incredibly supportive team. It makes a world of difference to work in an environment where collaboration and encouragement are part of the culture. I initially found my way into Occupational Rehab right after university by chance, but what’s kept me here is the diversity of cases and the continuous opportunities for learning and growth. The mentorship and support I’ve received have been instrumental in shaping both my personal and professional development, and I’m grateful to be part of such a dynamic and evolving organisation. - Geordie M., Registered Psychologist
