Your Role:
We're on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our fully equipped workshop in Mackay. Here, you'll carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet of road construction equipment, including pavers, rollers, profilers, trucks, and more. You'll work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

What You Bring:

Essential:

  • MR Licence and Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic
  • Strong fault diagnostic skills with hydraulic and auto electrical experience
  • White Card and your own basic hand tools
  • Safety-driven, with a commitment to a clean, safe work environment

Preferred but not Required:

  • HR Licence or higher
  • Experience with road construction equipment (e.g., pavers, profilers, rollers)
  • Confined Spaces and Forklift Tickets
  • Welding and fabrication skills
