We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join the team at our Cable Services operation based in Mackay. As a member of our team, you will ensure the safety and high standard of electrical cables that reach our mining and industrial customers locally and throughout Australia.

You will be actively coordinating, coaching and scheduling team workloads as well as coordinating materials to ensure product delivery is on time, to standard and customer satisfaction every time.

In addition, you will be required to take a leading role in promoting and developing a proactive and positive culture, as well as developing team competencies and training, WHS strategies, quality assurance, process improvement and customer focus.


  • Proven success supervising an industrial/mining services workshop
  • The ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a production and site services team
  • Excellent communication, job management and leadership skills
  • Self-motivation and flexibility to meet deadlines, operational changes and customer requirements
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrated capability in managing risk and WHS requirements
  • Experience working with HV / MV mining and industrial cables (advantageous)
  • Cable Repair Signatory or Class B (advantageous)
  • Forklift ticket – advantageous
  • Energetic and positive attitude to problem solving
