Our head office is based at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.

 

The Opportunity

 

Due to the continued growth of our operation, Black Cat Civil have a newly created role for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor, that will be directly responsible for the planning, organisation and administration activities of our Fleet maintenance resources on projects in the Central Queensland Region.

 

The role will work closely with our Site Management Team, and our Group Fleet Manager to coordinate breakdown repairs, scheduled maintenance and workshop activities.

 

Black Cat Civil run a significant fleet of earthmoving equipment including but not limited to Graders, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers and articulated Haul Trucks, whilst having a range of trucks, utes and ancillary equipment to maintain and repair.

 

The role will work over a 2-weeks on 1 week off roster cycle.

 

The proposed working fortnight will look like:

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for:

 

Coordinating breakdown repairs with the onsite fitters.

Scheduling preventative maintenance with the operational team.

Championing Fleet processes.

Approval of Fitter timesheets.

Administering our Fleet management system ‘The Fleet Office’ ensuring a high level of compliance to work order close outs.

Assist fitters diagnosing issues.

The successful candidate will have:

 

Intimate knowledge of civil earth moving equipment. Prior experience with road going trucks and light vehicles.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Solutions focused approach

Dynamic communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

Positive and proactive attitude.
