Workshop Technician

The Opportunity

Join the Marcem team as a Workshop Technician, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales and Dispatch teams. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining company and customer equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with quality standards. Additionally, you will assist with calibration processes and liaise with clients as required.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining customer and company equipment.
• Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
• Assisting in the development and execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Prioritising and managing workloads efficiently.
• Logging completed work in maintenance management systems.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with the calibration of equipment to meet industry standards.
• Supporting the dispatch team with packing and processing returned items when required.

Your Skills and Attributes:

• Mechanical Trade Qualifications or similar.
• Experience with Maintenance and Quality Systems.
• Leadership experience (preferred).
• Computer literacy for logging maintenance records.
• Forklift license (preferred).
• First Aid certificate (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
