Yard Hand – Forklift, WP & Yellow Card Essential

OCC Services is a fast growing, national labour hire company which is now in the QLD market. OCC services is one of the longest standing labour hire companies in Australia, having been established in 1995. The foundation of the business is built on Integrity, Reliability, Safety, Relationships and Family.  

We are currently recruiting a Yard Hand for our client located in Mackay Harbour QLD. To be successful in this role, you will need a valid driver’s license, along with a forklift ticket, WP certification, and a Yellow Card. This position is temp to perm for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• General yard maintenance and housekeeping

• Washing and cleaning machinery and equipment

• Refuelling machines

• Completing yard checklists and reports

• Collecting and delivering parts as needed

• Identifying, recording, and reporting any damage to machinery

• Assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful for this role you will need:

• A valid Construction Induction (White) Card

• A current and valid driver’s license

• WP (Boom Type - Elevating Working Platform above 11m)

• Yellow Card certification (Scissor Lift ticket)

• To complete our online onboarding procedure and online medical questionnaire prior to beginning work

• Ability to participate in an online interview via Zoom
